Andrea Peterson

I grew up in Minnesota and lived in Fargo, ND raising my two kids while my husband was the breadwinner. Now, I reside in Michigan with my husband, two adult children, two dogs, and two cats. I was a teacher for over 15 years and recently decided to make a change. With a background in English, Speech and Theatre, I am the "jazz hands" of my family. (That's what they love to call me!) (They also love to catch me saying something grammatically incorrect.) My hobbies are reading, watching movies, golfing, and singing with my dad when I return home to MN to visit. I play piano, flute, and guitar and you can catch me singing all the time. I used to dance on the stage but now I only dance when I'm cleaning the house or standing in line at the grocery store (to my kids' horror). Since my dad was also a teacher, we spent every summer camping and going on vacations. I still love heading out for an adventure wherever that may be. I believe in the magic of Disney, and I believe in the healing power of nature.
