Travel has always been a big part of my life. Growing up in a family that loved exploring new places and cultures sparked a lifelong curiosity about the world and the people in it.
I was born in Zimbabwe, raised and educated in South Africa, and have lived in five countries. After graduating from college, I left Cape Town with a round-trip ticket and just $200 in my pocket. Two years later, I returned home with a profound realization: nothing broadens your perspective quite like immersing yourself in different cultures.
Travel can be so much MORE than passive sightseeing. MORE than a checklist of 'must see' monuments, museums and mountains. Much MORE than selecting experiences that speak primarily to our own level of comfort.
Over the years I've expanded my foundation of travel training and experience to include becoming a Certified Guide for the Western Cape region of South Africa which includes one of the most beautiful cities of the world & what I call my home city - Cape Town.
I believe in Impactful Travel—travel that creates meaningful benefits for both travelers and the communities they visit. It's about traveling responsibly, supporting local people and businesses, respecting cultures, and caring for the environment.
Most importantly, it's about transformation.
