Hello and welcome! I am Alisha and I am so excited to be your travel consultant and the opportunity to help you plan your next great adventure! I love to travel! I have been all over the United States visiting 34 states and Canada and still counting. It is on my bucket list to get to all 50 states and down to Mexico one day and then travel the rest of the world! I hope that you have the same desires; to seek out what the world has to offer and if so i am here and ready to help you do just that! But before we get to that I am sure you're wondering who am I, how did I get here, and how can I help you? Good questions! Currently, I am a single mom of an amazing daughter and we live in the upstate of South Carolina. Originally, I am from Wisconsin and moved down here as a young child and was raised down here in the beautiful South. I live about an hour or so from the Great Smokey Mountains and love checking out the trails up there (especially in the fall when the leaves change-its gorgeous) as well as going out with friends on boats at one of the many lakes nearby and then heading a few hours either east or south to one of the many beaches on South Carolina's coastline to sink my feet in the the golden sand and listen to those melodic waves soothe my soul. I enjoy arts and crafts, reading, being involved in my church, volunteering, being the best soccer mom I can be, playing cards and board games and hosting game nights, going to the gym three times a week, and spending time with my friends and family. I have worked a variety of different jobs like grocery, retail, sales, customer service, collections, restaurants (both sit down and fast food), and even served in law enforcement for a while. but I wanted something a little more flexible so I could be more available to my daughter. I attempted college a few times; the most recent for an accounting degree because I like numbers. And while those were all great jobs, I was tired of punching the clock and oops if I clocked in late or had to miss work due to an appointment and had to either miss out on pay or schedule PTO to take care of life. I was unemployed looking for a job on Indeed when I found my sponsor and this opportunity to become a Travel Consultant. The freedom that it gave me to work for myself and have my own schedule working from home (yes often in pajamas) while having the ability and great perks to live out my dreams of travel and bring my daughter with me on these adventures to see the world was too good to pass up. I contacted my now sponsor, who is amazing, and attended what I thought was an interview but was just an exciting webinar full of information about the business and an hour later, I was jumping in with both feet. Since then, I have had the best time being able to actually live life, work to support my baby, and help other people like you! This is my niche and where I belong and i am so excited to be here and see where this journey takes me! But more importantly, I am excited to see where your journey is going to take you and how I can help you get there!
