Hi I'm Michael! The travel bug bit me right out of high school when I joined the US Army. My first airplane ride at 18 years old was to Denver, Colorado for my first duty station. After a year and a half dashing around in the Rockies, the military then sent me to Istanbul, Turkey, and I have been hooked on discovering new destinations ever since! This kid had never set foot out of Ohio before that time! Since I had such a passion for travel since my army days, I decided to join the Archer Travel family, a trusted travel leader since 1952. I am still working on that bucket list and last year I took a cruise to Iceland and spent two weeks in London which included a fall equinox visit to Stonehenge. It was epic! I have to say that my favorite spot is still Turkey. Maybe because it was the first foreign country I went to so many years ago. I have been back 3 times now! After an honorable discharge from the US Army, I spent the next 40 years in sales and customer service. This translates to me having the ability to carefully listen to your needs and desires in order to craft your next incredible dream vacation!
